The BAcC is calling for statutory regulation of the acupuncture profession in the UK, in line with other countries around the world. We are pleased that in 2011 the Secretary of State for Health described acupuncture as offering 'robust self-regulation', but we wish to ensure that acupuncture enjoys similar opportunities to statutorily regulated providers.
